Presented by Mike Worsman

This interactive groundbreaking workshop will look at how organisations and individuals can re-define what society sees as newsworthy and shareable. By understanding a number of tools and techniques Mike has developed over the last fifteen years working as a journalist, public relations consultant and online marketing guru, you’ll be able to create content that connects with the world both online and offline.

Mike will also take you inside Humans of Sport in SA, a social media campaign he managed in partnership with Inclusive Sport SA and the Office of Recreation and Sport. On Facebook alone, the emotive human-centric photos, video and stories reached 730,000 South Australians in just 12 months. But what was the most popular content? Was it stories promoting multiculturalism, gender or people living with a disability? Find out the story behind the stories – understand what the statistics are telling us about how you should be marketing your organisation or event.
